Sherlyn is the Founder of Emberz, where she is responsible for the company’s strategic and operational direction, including partnership execution and brand portfolio development. Under her leadership, Emberz is building a portfolio of consumer brands focused on elevating everyday consumption through differentiated products, brand positioning, and scalable supply chains.
Sherlyn is also a Founding Partner of the Private Equity Group at Amberdale Asset Management, a Singapore-based single-family office with approximately US$1 billion in assets under management, focused on investing in U.S. middle-market private equity funds and co-investment opportunities with a consumer focus.
Sherlyn began her career in investment banking with J.P. Morgan in the United States, where she focused on the consumer sector. She brings over a decade of experience across finance, strategy, and investing in the consumer and consumer technology sectors across the U.S. and Asia. Prior to founding Emberz, she was Head of J.P. Morgan’s Consumer & Retail Investment Banking franchise in Asia and has advised on transactions exceeding US$100 billion across both regions.
Sherlyn also served as a Senior Adviser to Crescent Point Capital Management (subsequently acquired by Ares Management Corporation), a consumer-focused investment firm with approximately US$3 billion in assets under management, and currently sits on the advisory board of Evolve Capital Asia, a fully licensed financial advisory and investment management firm regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
